Title: GIS Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
GIS analyst position for medium size boutique commercial real estate company.
Our professionals are an elite group of highly experienced, creative advisors with a deep understanding of the retail real estate market. We represent a diverse group of clients including national and local retailers and landlords.
Responsible for the creation, analysis, production, and distribution of geospatial information, the GIS Analyst will work with sales professionals, as well as the research and marketing departments to produce mapping collateral and conduct geospatial analysis. These deliverables include demographic analysis, publishing mapping, multivariable heat maps, commutation analysis, and aerial maps. The position will be based in the firmís main Charlotte NC office, conducting geospatial analysis locally and where needed for markets around the southeast.
Essential Job Duties
Serve as the main point of contact and delivery for aerial, demographics and mapping requests and deliverables for real estate professionals.
Coordinate and work together with the marketing team and client organizations to produce the mapping content for marketing materials.
Produce demographic reports from local, regional and national data.
Lead the company in sourcing cutting-edge geographic technology and data sources to maintain Company competitive advantage.
Skills, Education and Experience:
Minimum bachelorís degree in major GIS applications.
Minimum of 2 years experience in mapping and/or aerial support advanced programs.
High level of proficiency using ESRI GIS software. Proficient in Microsoft applications (particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
Ability to identify new data sources for special projects
Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to be organized and handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment and deliver work accurately and on time.
