Description of Role:

The Network and Data Center Services (NDS) Practice is looking for GIS/Cadd Techs. The primary role of a GIS/CADD Tech is to be able to read asbuilts and verify or input into a GIS systems. You must have a working knowledge of telecom terms and OSP fiber designs. Also you need to be able to work with little supervisions and direction. You will need to be savvy with a computer and OSP telecom


Required Travel:

Minimum Qualifications
• 2+ years’ experience with OSP documentation
• In depth working knowledge and experience within the following technical areas:
o OSP engineering
 JPA (Joint pole agreement)
 GIS systems
 CADD
 ROW and site survey
 Aerial and Buried Fiber Design
 Unit pricing
 Splicing
o Telecom Transport Technologies
 Fiber Optic Backbone
 Fiber Regeneration
 High Availability
 Copper and Fiber Optic Protocols
 Circuit Testing, Turn up and Integration

Nice to have Qualifications
• Telecom savoy
• Excellent communication skills
