Position Description:

We are seeking a fully-remote, associate level Enterprise GIS Administrator to provide operational and technical support to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) eGIS program within an ArcGIS Enterprise platform hosted in AWS GovCloud. This role focuses on Esri Enterprise configuration, Portal and Server administration, governance and access workflows, automation deployments, and day-to-day GIS services that enable USACE mission requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

Provide administration and operational support for ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, Server, Data Store, Web Adaptor, other Federated Esri Servers and Roles).

Implement and support enterprise capabilities including security, roles, sharing, federation, HA, backups, upgrades, and compliance.

Establish and deliver technical GIS workflows for data ingestion, publishing, analysis, and delivery.

Support Portal for ArcGIS governance: users, groups, roles, content lifecycle, and access request workflows such as publishing, managing, and troubleshooting GIS services, web maps, apps, and geodatabases.

Perform and support enterprise GIS workflows, QA/QC, metadata, and USACE data standards implementation.

Develop and deploy automation solutions using ArcGIS API for Python, Esri REST APIs, and scheduled jobs including automated deployment scripts, and application updates.

Monitor performance, tune systems, and resolve Tier 2/3 operational issues.

Coordinate with USACE stakeholders and platform teams to meet operational and governance needs.

Document workflows, configurations, and operational procedures.



Required Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain a federal government Public Trust or Security Clearance.

ArcGIS Enterprise & Portal administration

Enterprise GIS analysis and data management

Workflow enablement & governance support

Automation deployment with Python / ArcPy

AWS Services experience

Esri service and application troubleshooting

Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and team leadership.



Preferred Qualifications:

Current/Previous Common Access Card (CAC) holder.

PMP or Agile certification (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP).

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

Background in software engineering or GIS analysis.
