Position Description:

Web Developer

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in front-end web development, with demonstrated experience integrating with enterprise back-end systems via APIs.

Degree and/or Certification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) or web accessibility (e.g., DHS Trusted Tester) are highly desirable.

Clearance: TS/SCI

Special Skills: The Web Developer must possess expert-level proficiency in core web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). This role requires deep experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) for building complex, responsive, and single-page applications. The developer must demonstrate mastery of REST API integration, with proven experience connecting front-end interfaces to disparate back-end services, particularly enterprise platforms for IT Service Management (ITSM) and geospatial data servers. A strong understanding of UI/UX design principles is essential, as is a thorough knowledge of web accessibility standards and their implementation, specifically Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The ideal candidate will be proficient with modern development tools, including package managers (nap/yarn), bundlers (Webpack/Vite), and version control systems (Git).
