Position Description:

GIS Technical Analyst

Experience: Minimum of 4 years working with GIS applications and 2 years of consistent familiarity with ESRI software.

Degree/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field; DCWF qualification. Relevant ESRI Associate Certifications are highly desirable.

Clearance: Requires TS/SCI

Special Skill: The Technical Analyst must combine strong technical and analytical skills to support complex spatial data analysis and interpretation. Proficiency across the ESRI suite (ArcGIS Enterprise, Online, and Pro) is required. Key competencies include advanced spatial analysis, data manipulation and automation using Python and SQL, and experience with spatial database management (SDE). The analyst must also possess strong data visualization and map production skills and be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences. A commitment to continuous learning and attention to detail are essential for this role.
