About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level GIS Developer to join our remote consulting team and grow with us. You'll work alongside experienced geospatial professionals to automate GIS workflows, build custom tools, and support geospatial analysis for federal and commercial clients. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to develop their technical skills in a fast-paced consulting environment where modern technologies — including AI and open-source GIS — are part of the daily toolkit.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in GIS or a related field, OR 2–4 years of professional geospatial experience; hands-on experience with the Esri ecosystem (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online); working proficiency in Python for GIS automation and tool development (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python); must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and pass required federal background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with open-source geospatial tools (QGIS, GeoPandas, GDAL); practical experience with geospatial analysis and spatial data processing; interest in or experience with AI/LLM integration in geospatial workflows; demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical challenges.
