Position Summary
We are seeking a Mid-Level Enterprise GIS Developer with extensive experience across the Esri ecosystem to join our GIS consultancy team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in ArcGIS Enterprise portal administration, system optimization, and workflow automation, and is capable of managing spatial databases, configuring Windows Server environments, and understanding the foundational IT infrastructure that supports robust enterprise GIS deployments. This role requires close collaboration with system administrators, GIS analysts, and stakeholders to ensure secure, high-performing, and scalable geospatial services. We are seeking someone who is passionate about architecting resilient GIS solutions and thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Required Qualifications
2–4 years of professional experience as a GIS Developer, Systems Administrator, or similar role; extensive hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Data Store) configuration, administration, and publishing workflows; strong proficiency in Python (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python) for automating administrative tasks, data pipelines, and system maintenance; solid familiarity with managing enterprise geodatabases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and spatial data architecture; working knowledge of IT fundamentals, including managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments and IIS; proven ability to monitor system performance, optimize services, and troubleshoot architecture bottlenecks; and must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with deploying and managing GIS systems in Windows Server architecture; understanding of GIS security best practices, web-tier authentication (SAML, OAuth), and implementing security controls/STIGs; experience integrating ArcGIS Enterprise with other enterprise business systems, BI tools, and third-party APIs; and proficiency in Git workflows (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket) for script and configuration management.
