POSITION SUMMARY
GeoAcuity is seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to perform systems analysis, concept and design, and program development. This role involves designing GIS databases, automation workflows, and analytical procedures that support Reclamation water resource and environmental management programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform systems analysis, concept and design, and program development, implementation, and documentation in GIS; prepare and implement user/project setup for GIS-related projects; design databases, automation and processing macros, and related analytical procedures; maintain application software and GIS databases; perform digitizing tasks as needed; and support integration of environmental models with GIS and external database connections.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Geography, Natural Resources Management, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science (comparable experience accepted); 3–5 years of GIS production work using Esri software; 3+ years of Python, Arcade, and/or ModelBuilder experience; proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and ArcGIS Online; and must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to pass a federal background check prior to start date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Relevant Esri training within past 2 years: ArcGIS Pro, Building Geodatabases, Cartographic Production, ESRI 3D Creation/Analysis, Enterprise Geodata Management, or Modernizing Field Workflows using FieldMaps; experience with remote sensing and GPS/data collection technologies; and familiarity with Reclamation or DOI natural resource GIS data standards and practices.
