GIS Technician/Analyst

We are seeking a GIS Technician or Analyst to join our GIS team based in our Littleton, Colorado office (Denver area). The role is an entry to mid-level position that has career growth into a Sr GIS Analyst. We are looking for someone with 3-7 years’ experience in GIS, as well at least experience with the latest ESRI Technologies including but not limited to ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Apps.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with the GIS Coordinator and Subject Matter Experts in Midstream, and Downstream oil and gas projects that include High Consequence Area analysis.
Work on other utility GIS projects such as Gas Distribution, Electric and Water systems
Will be required to perform geospatial analysis, cartographic map production, as well as geodatabase creation.
Will be required to help with document processes and procedures for QA/QC.
Will work closely with other GIS team member to complete projects on time and on budget.
Will be required to attend client meeting to answer GIS related questions and explain procedures and results to clients.
Will be required to help in development of GIS technologies to promote GIS services and products for clients.
Key Qualifications
Passion for geospatial technology and helping clients with data and spatial information.
GIS Analyst with at least 3-7 years’ experience.
Strong experience working with ESRI GIS software including but not limited to ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, Spatial Analyst, and ArcGIS Online
Strong experience processing spatial data including but not limited to geodatabases, Shapefiles, Imagery, KML/KMZ, AutoCAD DWGs etc...
Experience with SQL databases is preferred.
Previous experience working in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
Expertise in Water or Electric utilities GIS is a plus.
Expertise in GPS Field Inventory and Mapping is a plus.
Experience with FME Safe ETL is a plus
